American Textile Recycling Service (ATRS) has been a steadfast supporter, helping us raise funds and reduce waste through their dedicated textile recycling efforts.
ATRS stands out as a pioneer in textile recycling and as the main company in the field that partners with nonprofits. With an impressive 4.2 million pounds of textiles recycled this year alone, ATRS is making a huge impact by keeping old clothes, shoes, and other textiles out of landfills. Through their 219 collection bins on the ground in Southeast Michigan, and plans to add even more next year, they’re making it easier than ever for our community to recycle and give back. You can even find ATRS bins at Michigan Humane locations, making it convenient to support both sustainability and our mission.
With a focus on sustainability, ATRS and Michigan Humane meet at the intersection of building more humane communities and protecting the overall health of our planet, where both people and pets thrive. Every donation collected through ATRS helps fund Michigan Humane’s mission, supporting animal rescue, adoption, and care initiatives that benefit both pets and their owners.
