In the spirit of our recent Thanksgiving celebration, we are happy to report that the Caplan Family Pet Food Pantry team distributed the second highest month of food ever in November. A total of 238,000 pounds includes a new distribution of 30,000 pounds to 4 Thanksgiving meal human pantry sites.
For the first time ever, the Michigan Humane Pantry team has distributed over 2 million pounds of food in a single year with one month to go. Right now we sit at 2,150,000 pounds, on track for over 2.3 million by the end of the year.
