While MHS recommends judging each dog as an individual, scent hounds as a general group of dogs are known for using their noses and having a keen interest in small critters like squirrels and rabbits. Many of them like to use their voices as well! But at the same time, they can be the sweetest dogs and best pets you’ll ever meet!
